I'm interested in what direction you think advertising will take with regards to social networks. Sites like MySpace that do have advertising use it too intrusively and it becomes a hindrance to the user. There is also the question as to whether a...

I have always liked to view my facebook profile in spatial terms. Sort of like a living room cause that’s the one room in ones’ house where his guests spend most of their time. Ok so it’s sort of like your living room, one with a door that is eith...

I have been working within usability for just over 3 years now. I especially enjoy product usability and ergonomics. Just recently though I have developed a strong interest in the role of engagement and persuasion, especially for the web and SNS. I have an MSc in Human Factors and Ergonomics and a BSc in Computing and Psychology.
What's your interest in customer engagement?
Engagement and persuasive design are not something I have spent time looking into before, yet I am finding it fascinating to read about. Just defining how to assess if someone is 'engaged' and by how much must be very difficult and I am looking forward to finding out more about how researchers have gone about this.
