CDA, has just released a new whitepaper called Online Language Pathways. It details some of the findings from a short study we carried out this Autumn to take a closer look at how language changes during search. What we were especially interested in was the relationship between between someone's idea of what they want to search for, the language they use while searching , how this is modified and finally what kind of language people are most likely to respond to when they actually engage with a web page or site.
The press release is attached and you can download the paper from the CDA website. We'd be very interested in your feedback.
